For more than 25 years, pig farming and the wholesale of pigs have been the core activities of SIA “Baltic Pork”. The raised pigs are sold both on the local market and abroad, while currently, piglets and finishing pigs are mainly supplied to Latvian meat processing enterprises. In cooperation with partners, we pay special attention to animal welfare and responsible transportation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the delivery process.

Caring for Quality
New premises with ventilation systems:
New premises with ventilation systems that provide a good climate and optimal temperature regardless of the season. Comfortable premises and an environment in barns are an important prerequisite for healthy animals.
SPF (Specific Pathogen-Free)
The company operates according to high biosecurity standards (SPF approach): closed production cycle, reduction of disease risks, and constant state supervision. This approach to pig farming requires special care, resulting in much healthier animals that grow better.
High standards of cleanliness and hygiene:
To limit the spread and entry of diseases and infections into the farm, very strict hygiene standards and safety measures are observed throughout the territory for both staff and vehicles.
Washing robots:
Barns are equipped with powerful and modern washing robots that perform regular and thorough cleaning of pens. This provides pigs with a clean and safe environment.
Specially adapted feed:
Alongside the environment, animal health is critically dependent on feed quality. The grain used for feed is grown by ourselves and also purchased from local farmers.
Automated feeding system:
An automated feeding system ensures that animals receive an accurate, complete feed composition and regular food delivery.
