Agricultural Fertilizer

The substrate, or digestate, obtained from the biogas plant is a valuable organic fertilizer containing nutrients essential for plants—nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and micronutrients. It can be used for fertilizing agricultural lands by incorporating it into the soil using machinery designed for liquid manure spreading and incorporation.

Compared to untreated liquid manure, the digestate is more homogeneous, its nutrients are more readily available to plants, and it has a significantly less pronounced odor. Thus, the substrate obtained during the biogas production process becomes a valuable resource in agriculture while promoting efficient nutrient cycling and sustainable management.

Receipt and Utilization of the Substrate

For the convenient and safe receipt of the substrate, we have established a separate transport loading point that can be accessed without entering the territory of the pig farming complex. Vehicles can be loaded independently at any time convenient for you.

The substrate is available from March 15 to November 15. Its use and incorporation into the soil must comply with the requirements and restrictions set out in Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 834 of December 23, 2014, “Requirements for the protection of water, soil, and air from pollution caused by agricultural activities.”

Extraction and Incorporation:

For contract signatories, we also provide the removal and incorporation of fertilizer into agricultural lands.

Improved Fertilization Efficiency:

Contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and micronutrients. The nutrients contained within are more easily assimilated by plants.

Less Pronounced Odor:

The agricultural fertilizer obtained through the anaerobic fermentation process is virtually odorless.
